The American sitcom, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, began airing on the FX network on August 4, 2005. The series was created by Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, and Charlie Day.
The series follows the misadventures of "the gang," an egocentric group of friends consisting of Mac MacDonald, Charlie Kelly, Dennis Reynolds, Dee Reynolds, and Frank Reynolds, and their failures at running Paddy's Pub.
