It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is an American sitcom that began airing on FX on August 4, 2005, created by Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, and Charlie Day.

The show follows the misadventures of "the gang" - an egocentric group of friends consisting of Mac, Charlie, Dennis, Dee, and Frank - and their utter incompetence at running Paddy's Pub.
